I'll show you two ways you can remove spyware from a phone and how to protect your smartphone in the future. These techniques are simple enough to be applied by anyone; no need to be a technician.
Hope you have read my article - How to detect spyware on your phone. It gives some tips on how to detect spyware, looking for unusual phone behavior among others. If you still suspect your smartphone is being watched by spyware, you need to get rid of it!
This is probably the most effective method to remove any spy app from your phone. Even if you are not sure that you are being watched, it will allow you to sleep soundly. Sometimes we also talk about hard reset for this practice, you can't go wrong. How to remove spyware from a smartphone? Resetting it to factory settings is the best way!
There are different ways to do this, depending on the type of smartphone. You can do it yourself, or if you're afraid of doing something stupid, you can just take it to a phone store and ask them to do it - Most will do it for free.
A factory reset will return your smartphone to the state it was in when you bought it. All your data will be deleted along with all apps and software you have installed. You should back up all the data you want to keep (contacts, photos, music, etc.) so that you can restore it after your device is reset.
You should make a list of the apps you downloaded so that you can reinstall them later, although there are a few backup methods that keep them.
Once you have saved everything, you are ready to reset the smartphone.

These guides are straightforward, and once you've followed all of the steps, all traces of spyware will have been removed. It's a quick and easy way to make sure you are no longer being watched.
Updating or reinstalling the phone's firmware or operating system will have an effect similar to reverting to factory settings, but less extreme. This method will not delete your apps or data, but will get rid of spyware.
This technique works because spy apps are designed specifically for the phone's OS - Change the OS, and the software won't work. This is not as comprehensive a solution as a reset, but in most cases it will get rid of spyware.
Remember that updating the OS will also remove Rooting (Android) or Jailbreak (iPhone).
Removing spyware from an iPhone is easy, just update or reinstall iOS. For spyware to work on an iPhone, it must be Jailbroken. Updating iOS removes the Jailbreak, and therefore spyware by extension. Check out my iPhone spy guide for more information on how to hack an iPhone.
This software has become very popular, especially since jailbreaking is no longer possible for the latest Apple devices. Keep in mind that with "No Jailbreak" versions, no software is actually installed on the monitored device! I talk about it in more detail in my full mSpy review.
No software installed means there is nothing to remove - But how do you block this surveillance? These software work by monitoring iCloud backups. The person monitoring your device should have access to your Apple ID and password, and backups should be done automatically.
If you think you are being spied on this way, you should block iCloud backups. You can completely cancel backups and use another way to back up your device. You can also change your password regularly. Both of these techniques will work wonderfully and prevent the person from gaining access to your backups and private information.
For more peace of mind, I recommend that you use an alternative backup solution, and delete your iCloud account.
Spyware for smartphones can be removed manually by deleting the software files. This is a technique that is only suitable for those who really know what they are doing and which I do not recommend.
Finding and identifying spy app files can be very complicated. Indeed, they are disguised to be able to camouflage the app. This technique takes time, effort and involves the risk of deleting the wrong files, which could harm your smartphone.
Once you have removed the spyware from your smartphone, you should consider securing your smartphone to prevent the situation from happening again. The number of people who do not use any means of protection for their smartphone is staggering. Spy apps can be installed in just a few minutes, if someone has physical access to your smartphone.
